CanaVox JV
Middle School & High School
Our CanaVox JV curriculum is designed to help students confidently navigate their adolescent years by building a strong foundation of character and wisdom. Instead of a typical lecture, these weekly sessions are interactive, peer-led reading and discussion groups guided by a trained CanaVox leader.
The curriculum is tailored to meet students where they are, depending on their grade level:
CanaVox JV - Middle School:
The CanaVox JV curriculum is designed to help students confidently navigate their teenage years by building a strong foundation early. Instead of a typical lecture, these weekly sessions are interactive, peer-led reading and discussion groups guided by a trusted mentor.
The Middle School curriculum specifically focuses on three core pillars:
Healthy Relationships & Dating: Navigating early social dynamics, understanding authentic friendships, and forming a wise, long-term perspective on dating and marriage.
Family & Community: Appreciating the vital role of family bonds, learning how to contribute positively to the home, and understanding mutual respect between generations.
Character & Personal Integrity: Discussing the importance of sexual integrity, self-respect, and learning how to stand firm in personal values amidst cultural and peer pressures.
CanaVox JV - High School:
The High School curriculum tackles more mature, complex cultural realities, preparing young adults to make wise lifestyle decisions with truth and compassion:
Dating, Marriage, & Family: Examining the secular science, natural law, and practical wisdom behind the historic understanding of marriage and family life.
Navigating Difficult Cultural Topics: Engaging in thoughtful, level-headed conversations regarding current social challenges such as pornography, gender identity, and transgender ideology.
Forming Convictions: Equipping high schoolers with the vocabulary and understanding to confidently articulate their values in a hostile public discourse.
A Partnership with Parents
CanaVox JV operates on the firm belief that parents are the essential foundation for a student's personal growth and character development.
The program is designed to support and reinforce, not replace the values taught at home.
Parents are the Primary Educators
At CanaVox their goal is to assist parents - and never substitute - parents primary educational responsibility.
Parent-Teen Communication
We invite all registered parents to read and study the materials in this course and encourage parents to discuss the materials with their child before and after each session.
Having a shared vocabulary on these delicate topics will increase the likelihood that your teen will come back to you for more information and conversations years after CanaVox classes end.
Parent Informational Meeting
Because parents are the primary educators of their children, collaboration with you is the cornerstone of the CanaVox program. Before our 10-week session officially kicks off, we will host an optional Parent Info Meeting. This brief chat gives you a chance to look over the discussion materials, meet the group leaders, and ask any questions you might have before your student begins.
